What is a Yurt?
The first recorded history of a yurt came from Greece in 5th century B.C.E., noting that they were portable tent-like dwellings. Now, these modern-day shelters are assembled similarly to a tent, but often offer the comforts of home such as taller ceilings, real flooring, electricity, windows, running water, and more. Because of it’s circular shape and tent-like structure, a yurt stands out compared to other vacation rentals in Pennsylvania.
